City of Fire
The epic war comic series City
of Fire will be finished fall 2007, and in stores in 2008!
The never before told true story of the men of the 1/23rd Blackhawk Company and the
events surrounding the battle for Mosul, Iraq, June 24, 2004.
Told with graphic gut wrenching realism, with a no punches pulled attitude that
could only be told by a soldier who was there and saw it all, Ernesto Haibi.
Follow Ernesto and company as they fight door to door, building to building,
trying to save a city from an enemy dead set on bringing it to its knees.
There has never been a comic that dared to be this unafraid of showing the
true face of war.
Brutal, tragic, heroic, graphic, bloody and at times horrifying. But most of all... real.
Written by Ernesto Haibi, Tom Waltz & Robert Scott McCall and wonderfully
illustrated by Gerry Kissell, Jon Alderink and Fellipe Martins with
incredible cover art created by world renowned war artist James Dietz.
One doesn't just read City of Fire... they experience it.
